Evan H. Katz is an accomplished financial professional, based in New York City. He works as the Managing Director of Crawford Ventures, Inc., an investment firm in New York City that forms, grows, holds interests in, and ultimately raises investor capital for both hedge funds and private equity funds. In this position, Mr. Katz is able to utilize his substantial experience with hedge funds to help develop and refine investment strategies.  Through his work, he has become well-respected and highly regarded in various hedge fund and institutional investor communities. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Hedge Fund Association (HFA). Since graduating from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctoris Degree in 1988, Evan H. Katz has been working on Wall Street, through which he first entered the world of hedge funds. He has raised significant investor capital for compelling hedge funds, private equity funds, and medical life sciences companies over the years through building strong relationships with global investors, as well as numerous institutional and family office investors. Throughout his career in finance, Evan H. Katz has earned various honors and awards.  In 2011, he was awarded the Young Leadership Award from the Hedge Fund Summit.  He has also been recognized as an expert honorary speaker at various firms and businesses, such as KPMG LLP for his work regarding fundraising and the JOBS Act, HFA and Chadbourne & Parke LLP for fundraising for hedge funds, O.D.D. and best financial practices.  He is also a member of the Advisory Board at Infovest21 LLC.   As well as his extensive expertise and experience in the world of hedge funds, Evan H.
